As it’s being said ”Success isn’t final, and failure isn’t fatal, it’s the courage to continue that count”, and ”The road to success and the road to failure are almost exactly the same”.
Anthony Joshua is the world heavyweight champion again! He didn’t relent or give up earlier when he lost to Andy Ruiz. The Nigerian-British boxer reclaimed the title after beating Andy Ruiz whom he lost to earlier in the year in New York. He won back the IBF, WBA and WBO belts in what was literally a bloody fight, the two boxers slugging it out and giving it their all.
After reclaiming his title, Anthony Joshua revealed that he had health issues when he lost earlier to Andy Ruiz Jr. in June 2019.
Joshua told BBC:
“I didn’t know what was wrong with me though I’d been having health issues,”
“I couldn’t understand why I felt so tired. In the dressing room in New York I was so tired I had to put my head in an ice bucket.”
“I was told I must have an operation to correct the problem. After that I could train properly in camp for this fight,” he also said.
For his next fight, Joshua has been ordered to take on mandatory challenger Oleksandr Usykto defend his WBO title.
