Peace Mildred Ehiguese, representing Adamawa state, has emerged winner of the 2017 edition of Miss Nigeria beauty contest. She beat other 35 contestants to the crown, making her the 41st Miss Nigeria beauty queen since its conception.
The Miss Nigeria contest promotes Nigerian pride and patriotism with the belief in each contestant that she is capable of achieving the unthinkable. The pageant inspires girls to live their dreams, become successful, believe in themselves and strive endlessly.
The beauty pageant took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Thursday, 22nd December into Friday morning.
Rita Chinedu, Delta state beauty queen representative emerged the first runner-up, while Miss Ogun, Tolulope Ayanfalu Mary, was second runner-up.
